Note, this would also work for calendars like iCal, Outlook, and most others. Also, if you want to get fancier with print-out options or wanted to by-pass Google altogether, you could take a look at the features that WinCalendar offers, though they aren't all free.
WHY A TEACHER MIGHT CARE:
- Create a functional, useful pacing calendar, remediation schedule, etc.
- Easily "shift" your pacing to account for snow days or other unplanned disruptions.
- Share your calendar with your department, other teachers, etc.
- You can print a professional looking calendar if needed.
- It's ready for use next year, just change the dates and make any other needed corrections.
The video below shows how to make a pacing calendar and upload to a google calendar as a csv file. I attached the template for uploading to google calendar. At a minimum, you must enter a 'start date' and a 'subject' for Google to accept the import.
