I'm posting a video explaining how I've been using Smart Notebook to model multiplication and division of fractions using the area model and number lines. I've also attached a Smart Notebook file to this post with the slides that I used in the video as well as extra slides, similar to those in the video.

To practice as a class, I have students write the number sentence on their whiteboards and I alternate between having them hold-up their work and entering the product into Smart Response.
